This book was really cute. It‘s about a girl who finds dodo bird and makes it her best friend. But one day, her secret slips out and the entire town comes to see the extinct bird. She will have to be quick thinking to fool this crowd. The illustrations are old school. They remind me of children‘s books from the 60‘s with their lines, and the colors. It‘s wonderful to see an artist aping the classics in modern stories.
