pickI was thinking about the movie version of this with David Bowie, and decided I needed to read the book. I will say Whitley Streiber is a great author. His writing style works for me. His depiction of the vampire Miriam is wonderful, both her loving side and her evil side. The fate of her consorts is one of the more chilling parts of the book.

I finished The Hunger 2 days ago and it was fantastic. I like to take a break after finish a book and digest it. Sometimes that break is 1 day or 3 days depending on my feelings for the book. How long do you take before starting a new book?
bailedNot enough to truly hook me. Sad, as I'd grabbed it from the thrift store because it sounded so good. Only made it five chapters in.
