Nicholas St. North and the Battle of the Nightmare King | 
pickFinished this yesterday and it was so amazing. The storytelling is just beautiful and captivating. I love Santa background stories and while this doesn‘t fully explain how Nicholas becomes the Santa we know and love, it gives him such a unique backstory, swordfighting, thievery and so many other unlikely characteristics. We also learn how Pitch came into being, and it‘s sad honestly. I can‘t wait to continue the story in the next book.
