So. Squidapus is conflicted about this one. He read it very quick as a dimension hopping city that pulls pieces and immigrants from the worlds it visits to add to itself while ruled by magic aristocracy was deeply interesting. But it had two glaring issues; confusing back and forth pacing, and leaning too hard on a flawed protagonist to the point that it wasn't "she's a mess but I want her to win" but "omg she's such a piece of crap." Just 2 much

Squidapus

Now that that emotional journey is over, Squidapus wants to hit up some fun and fantastical books for a bit. I'm sure it'll just be like the five other books he read for mindless fun that were depressing as hell and emotionally devastating. Good thing he's a cephalopod and didn't understand our human emotions.
