pick⭐️⭐️⭐️ I haven‘t listened to the original installment, but grabbed this one - part two - during a recent Audible sale. These are mostly satirical takes on classic bedtime stories, but for adults. Dark and humorous with a stellar cast. A fun, quick listen.
pickThis was the first of this series I‘ve listened to. It has an entertaining premise of taking the children‘s bedtime story genre and corrupting it to tell tales suitable only for adults. It was a free pick on Audible and the perfect fit for a 2 hour drive. The narration adds to the appeal with excellent voice actors like Nick Offerman, Patrick Stewart and Ellen Page.
pickI was pretty down for this one, wasn‘t the easiest to start with but with a bit of work this one is definitely one that I‘ll revisit later!Free books 📚 are always welcome in my opinion 🤗
so-soNick Offerman is funny and an entertaining narrator, but the stories are just weird... I enjoyed some more than others but I honestly can't remember one to call out. Perhaps it just isn't my genre, but in glad it was free!
panI like weird stories - I really do. However, I did not like these weird stories. There were 2 that I found interesting (Chapters 10 & 11), but some of them made no sense at all (Acid Reflux Man). These stories were not for me, even with a star-studded cast of narrators. Nick Offerman‘s introductions to each story were the best and most funny part...that and the fact that it was free. 2.5/5.0 ⭐️ #2019
