Some really interesting sociological writing into why people enjoy reading about serial killers and the role serial killer stories play in society. A lot of good content but the writing felt a bit like an A level English essay, ‘in this chapter I have showed‘ etc. I was also a bit surprised by how he took serial killers‘ own statements about their lives completely at their word like, all the time.
