Recently discovered thriftbooks.com. Which is a big deal because there are no used bookstores near me. But also bought a book about feeling “trapped in the machine of excess.” Oh and I still have one book in transit.

I'm interested to see what this book has to say about excess. My books could be in trouble. 😬 #TBR #NovemberByTheNumbers

I had a tough time with today's #minimalisticcovers challenge! One week ago I bought this book + think it is probably the most basic cover I own. I usually go for super cool, intricate covers that catch my eye.

I haven't read this yet; I don't always go for "decluttering" + "downsizing" BUT I ❤️ Jen Hatmaker! I have high hopes here ?

Has anyone read this or any other of Jen's books?

ImaginativeMom I haven't, but I have a set of friends who are obsessed with her!! 8y
LauraBeth I like her but haven't read any of her books. She posts very long stories on her Facebook page so usually I'll just read her there. Her husband, Brandon also just released a book. 8y
intothehallofbooks @ImaginativeMom @LauraBeth Yes! I haven't read her books yet either but sometimes her family life with kids is so similar to mine: it's crazy! 😂 Also, I love how she is often so articulate when I am still trying to stumble over what to say. 8y
Zelma A friend of mine loves her and often shoes her Facebook posts. I highly recommend following her if you don't. 😀 8y
TheSpinecrackersBookClub I haven't read anything by her but it looks quite interesting. 8y

Mehso-so

I like Jen Hatmaker, but for some reason I couldn't get into this book. I understand that the idea is to make us understand how much more we have than most of the world. It left me feeling so-so about the entire project.
