Tordyveln flyger i skymningen
Tordyveln flyger i skymningen | Maria Gripe
3 posts | 6 read | 1 to read
Mehso-so

This is another children's book that I read too late. At 10, I would probably have been fascinated by it, whereas now I'm more or less indifferent. The original radio version from the late 70s was probably great – this is a book that I think would work out great in audio format.

ErikasMindfulShelf I loved this as a kid. The radio version was great!! 7y

This is one of those books I was always aware of as a child but never read because something about it annoyed me (perhaps not having any idea what a tordyvel was). It's a bit childish in how things are too plainly put, but I still think I'll like it. It's the kind of mystery I wish I had read when I was younger. So far it reminds me a bit of The Secret Garden!

Leniverse I remember reading this when I was very young and loving it. I no longer have any idea what it was about, except there's some suspense? A mystery? I remember feeling disappointed when it ended. I think I wanted a sequel? Or did I think it ended to suddenly? 😂 7y

This is one of my childhood favourites. I loved it then and I loved it now as well. As soon as my son gets old enough, I will definitely read this to him. 📖📖📖📖📖
