In the fourth edition of this classic work on the subject, Derek passes on yet more of his comprehensive knowledge of the sport. He presents the basic principles of gliding in a style any pilot can easily understand. For those who would like to impove their glliding performance as pilots, this book comes highly recommended.

so-so

More of a so-so for me, but I am a general reader. If you are a member of the intended target audience, it might work better for you. That said, I did find Ken Stewart's The Soaring Pilot's Manual more interesting.
