A retelling of the myth in which Hades kidnaps Persephone and how we got winter. Told from Hades' point of view, of course.

I really enjoy this series. They are quick, cute reads. I'll be reading the one about Medusa next. Thanks again to @ravenlee for putting them on my radar.

ravenlee 😁 so happy to share! I‘m halfway through the series and finishing them for the readathon this weekend! 5y
Sace @ravenlee they are definitely part of my #deweyreadathon plans! 5y

Now, for the first time since she'd come down to the Underworld, Demeter smiled. "I'm going to get myself a little bungalow someplace warm. I won't work too hard, just hard enough to make sure it's never winter there. I shall call this place... Florida."

???

"The very thought of a party in my kingdom made me shudder. Gods and goddesses showing up and sloshing nectar punch all over my Palace. Loud music. Dancing. Ugh!"

Hades is my kind of guy. ?

batsy Ha, yes! #relatable 5y
Cathythoughts This is a scream 😆 5y
Sace @batsy @Cathythoughts I swear the myths are better from Hades' POV. 5y
ravenlee I love these retellings so much! Hades is easy to get behind in these stories. 5y
Sace @ravenlee he really is. 5y

Digital holds are so convenient. Out-of-state library cards are so worth the price!

ravenlee I love when you share these screenshots because my long-ago Spanish studies kick in and it takes me a second to realize I‘m reading a different language. 😆 5y
Sace @ravenlee I encourage people who are learning a language to put their phones/devices in the language they are studying. It's a little extra practice every time you check your phone 😊 5y

1/10 Sloppily written, and the tone comes across as whiny and arrogant. Didn't get more than a couple pages in, and can't stomach reading the rest.
