I received this book for free as a Goodreads Giveaway in exchange for my review.

I really enjoyed this book, although it is the 3rd book in a series and there is a lot of backstory in the first few chapters that would have been a little clearer if I had read the previous books. However, this did not take away from my overall enjoyment. I really loved the world that was created for this book, it was fascinating and intricate.

Cont. below ⬇️

CoffeeK8 Varya is a Shielder within her pack and she is passionately focused on the safety of her pack as a whole. She is singleminded, fierce and dealing with a lot of trauma from her past. She meets an injured outcast wolf, Eyulf, and his existence and their relationship impact her profoundly. They must work together to help protect her home and she must figure out if she can put her love of Eyulf over her love of the pack. 4y

If you have ever wanted to read a paranormal shifter story with romantic elements that is female empowering, gritty and primal and just makes sense in every possible way, Forever Wolf is the book! I totally adore the series and would always recommend it but only if thinking out of the fictional trope box is your thing🥰

I wanted to read this when I saw Kirkus reviews give this a starred review. Although, I am usually very thorough I missed that this was the third and final book in a series. For the most part I completely lost and I am learning these paranormal fantasy/romances are no longer something I am interested in reading. The one thing the author did was add a lot of folklore which I really did like.
