Day 3 of #7booksin7days is more #CanLit in the form of Garden in the Wind, a collection of four short stories about a very different era in the prairie provinces.
I‘m not sure how well-known Gabrielle Roy is in western Canada nowadays. She was Franco-manitobaine and wrote in French. I read this book in English but the French title at least is better—it translates roughly to “a garden at the end of the world.”
