If you like Simon‘s TV programmes then this book is for you. Nearly half of the book covers his life before he started travelling for the documentaries but was equally as interesting. He‘s done a lot that I‘d perhaps briefly read about before, but the detail is fascinating. (No spoilers here!)

The second half of the book covers his travels only up to the Equator series so there‘s more to come - I‘ll definitely be reading the next book.

rockpools Thanks Helen -sounds intriguing! I‘ll look it out. 4y

Picked this up from the library last night - thought I might at least make a start on it for #nfnov. I *really* want to finish The Romanovs though as well....

I‘m hoping hubby will also read this - he‘s only got into books in the last year or so and hasn‘t had much luck with NF, but he seems quite keen on this one....

Oh, and hubby put the log burner on for me this morning at 7am before he went to work... guess where I‘ll be found today?! 📚

TrishB Sounds like a good plan 😁 4y
