Scholastic's The Magic School Bus Ups and Downs: A Book about Floating and Sinking |

This SF/F book is great for kids that are being introduced to the content areas, in this case science. In this book, Ms.Frizzle‘s class learns that shape and weight are two big factors that determine if an object will float or not. This book would be best read as GR so the teacher could explain further with details and showing them what items will float or not with objects of her own.
