TimSpalding @ju.ca.no No, I hear you. You can learn *something* in a few hours. I've done it a few timesu2014Bosnian, Danish, Dutch. But you can't get much past learning the numerals, yes, no, colors, etc. And that wouldn't involve a lot of grammar or understanding of replies. I gather, for example, that Japanese is agglutinative, like Turkish, but I doubt I'd learn much in four hours. 5y
