Honestly, the book is better than the movie. I‘ll miss Lucy and Edmund. The Pevensies were my favorite characters. In a way, they‘re relatable.
I hope the new characters introduced in the next few books will hopefully, if not replace them, will be reminiscent of their time there.

pickThe characters go on a quest that‘s filled with unexpected challenges & missdventure. Each has to overcome temptations in order to become a better person. This approaches psychedelic levels of high fantasy. Makes sense; it ends in a rapture. Decades have passed since I first read this. The idea that Aslan/God can make me feel enlightened and safe bumps hard against my beliefs. But I will always like any book that lets you jump into the picture.
