Y‘all I‘m almost certain Viola is already dead. That she‘s either a robot or a clone or there‘s something inside of her animating a body that‘s truly no longer functional. There‘s been a couple times when I thought as much but with her dad doing the whole ‘you have to tell Olivia. She deserves to know‘ like there‘s something Up with Viola

I love carnivorous predatory plants. I love that Mira comes up with plants even more fucked up than I do

I love that Seanan/Mira includes quotes from the characters yall. It‘s always so good. (Also sorry for photo quality I was reading in a club)

This book just might have the most insufferable MC on the planet (we get it, the girl you're crushing on is frickin Mary Poppins: practically perfect in every way. You don't need to say it 20 times per page!) She really only became bearable once the action started about 100 pages in. The one time I'm thankful for xenomorphs. She did a complete 180 once the killing started. Makes it kinda hard to rate this one, though.

Super excited to dive into the ARC of @seananmcguire‘s alter ego‘s YA Alien book on this #socksunday! This is what I‘m doing while hubs waits to see if the Saints are going to the Super Bowl.
