I really enjoyed this romance. I basically read it in a day. Though Grant was super mean and judgmental because she was a courtesan. Called her a whore a few times.

Vivien loses her memory and Grant is a Bow Street Runner investigating the crime. She stays at his house while she recovers. Lots of sexy time. I did guess one of the mysteries and was suspicious of the 2nd.

⭐⭐⭐ Although my kindle crapped out in the middle of it, this was a good read.

Today I mourn the passing of my Kindle, Gretchen, who passed away in the middle of this book. Fortunately my iPad, Agnes, has a kindle app and enough room for a few books until I can justify buying a new one. Farewell, Gretchen. May your batteries never deplete, and may the Kindle Daily Deal always fill you with joy.

I loved the writing style and found it entertaining and compelling. But I didn't enjoy the story. This is a 2-3 star book for me.
