Deadly Class Vol. 7: Love Like Blood
Deadly Class Vol. 7: Love Like Blood | Rick Remender
3 posts | 5 read | 2 to read
Marcus and Maria have resurfaced, and with them a whole ocean of bad blood crashes on the shores. Shabnam and the Student Council are out to put Marcus and Maria in the grave for good this time, Saya's maniacal brother Kenji stokes the flames of hatred, and in the shadows of those flames looms Headmaster Lin, waiting to reward whoever is left standing with a place by his sideÑor a sharp knife in the back. ItÕs 1989 and the era is drawing to a close, but it's going to take as many poor bastards with it into oblivion as it can. Collects DEADLY CLASS #32-35

Have to stay ahead of the tv show—which really shouldn‘t be a problem since it‘s just 2 episodes in—which is really me wanting to read something over the top & fun & all that. Marcus tried to leave, really he did but when you go to a high school that trains the children of criminals, amongst others, to be assassins, there really is no getting out because those criminals? They have agendas too. I liked this volume—stories & colors are outstanding.

NCBD!!! Wednesdays are the best! Picked up one new release & a couple of older ones. Grabbed the 5th & final issue of Bully Wars as well as Champions #1 which the staff at Chicago Comics said was worth a read. I‘m so easy—I trust them & will pretty much read anything they recommend. Finally, Deadly Class, Vol. 7. On a side note, I‘m hearing good things about the first episode of the tv show which is available free on iTunes (& maybe elsewhere?).
