rretzler@robinb@SaturnDoo Most of the other Robins I know are around my age - mid 50ish. My parents were going to give me the same name whether I was a boy or a girl - Robin Lynn - so I suppose I‘m glad to be a female for that reason, if not many others. 🤣2mo
robinb@rretzler Yes, that age range works for me (53). I‘ve never asked them but may check to see if they planned Robin as an either/or name as well. 🤣👍 My middle name (Lee) is after my great grandfather.2mo
SaturnDoo@robinb@rretzler I will be 48 this yr. Don't know many Robins either. A couple yrs before I was born my mom picked out Kimberlee & Khrystal, which my aunt used both of those for her 2 oldest girls. Then she picked out Candie and a purse/shoe company used that name. So I ended up Robin Sue 🤢🤢🤢 middle name after 2 aunts. Hate it. My boy name would've been Roger Dale. I'm not sure which is worse 🤣😂🤣😂2mo
robinb@SaturnDoo I love that story! I definitely like Robin Sue (no offense to any Rogers out there! 😊) It‘s funny how those family names get taken and then you have to search for others. All the great boy family names had been taken by the time our son came along, so I used my maiden name instead (he‘s Matthew Wilson)...I like it. 😊👍2mo
The grandbaby's current literary fascination- lift the flap books having lost their appeal- are books with cut out or textured letters to feel and trace. His interest in baby dictionary type books continues!
