2 posts | 1 read | 4 to read
A full-color biography designed to look like a journal examines the life of Charles Darwin--from his early schooling and studies on the Galapagos Islands to the publication of On the Origin of Species and the legacy of his theory of evolution--in a book that draws on the scientist's personal writings.

Saw a amazing play this week, with was all about Darwin‘s journey on The Beagle. It was great especially the huge articulated puppets of whales, swimming turtles and shoals of fish. It was a visual feast... so curling up,tonight with Darwin‘s notebook. Great book of snippets of Darwin‘s work and travels. #bookstostage

julesG Charles and I have been great friends for over 25 years, when I did my very first presentation in English. I talked about him and some other natural philosophers and this notebook sounds like a perfect addition to my mumbo-jumbo book collection. 😉 Sadly, I was not allowed to climb on Charles' lap for a picture, at the NHM. Having my picture taken, sitting on his statue has been on my weirdo bucket list for ages. 5y
Mitch @julesG it‘s good to have a random collection of life goals- makes for interesting lives! 🤣 5y
Mitch @Freespirit it‘s a great gift edition! 5y
julesG You know, anybody can go climbing the Eiffel Tower, eating Fugu in Tokyo, rolling dice in Las Vegas. 😜 5y
