When the small town of Nativity, Missouri, loses its much-needed seasonal business, more than the economy suffers. Lifelong resident Roni Elliot clashes with the new outside consultant Jake Brisco, whose drastic budget-slashing threatens the traditions and spirit of Nativity. However, as forgotten joys rekindle and new traditions emerge, Christmas once again becomes a season of hope.

Pickpick

Roni lives in Nativity, a town struggling to thrive financially. Its main tourist attractions lie in the little traditions that carry over, such as the Christmas tree in the middle of the intersection (yes, you read that properly), and an ice skating rink in a gazebo - along with all the gear needed to keep the ice frozen during the less than cold winters. Enter Jake Brisco, a handsome consultant determined to turn Nativity around.

vkois88 In order to do this, he'll have to step on quite a few toes of the townsfolk. Will they shun his plans and chase him out of town, or will they accept them?

This was a cute book centered on the idea of holiday traditions... ones previously upheld, and new ones you want to create. Christmas Lamp has either been a Hallmark Movie or could easily be adapted into one. It was a quick, easy listen. 3.5🌟
