My pick for April was Skeleton Creek.
“Strange things are happening in Skeleton Creek . . . and Ryan and Sarah are trying to get to the heart of it.“
I loved this YA mystery. It takes place in 2 parts, Ryan's journal entries and Sarah's video clips. The book gives you passwords to use on a real website so that you can watch her video clips. I highly recommend this for kids or kids at heart.

1. It's not springtime without...... surving on Benadryl and hydrocortisone cream. I am allergic to pretty much all plants and insect venum/bites/stings. As soon as things bloom, I'm sneezing and my body breaks out in hives.
2. Skeleton Creek was my favorite. I loved the combo of journal entries and online video clips that told the story.
3. At the end of the month we are traveling to Canada to meet up with our friends for a few days.

I enjoyed this book a lot. There is a feeling of dread throughout the novel. I especially liked the video segments that were found on a special website.

I‘m loving this creepy book of two teenagers investigating their town. It‘s written as a journal with interactive video clips on a special website. Oh, the jump scare I just got from one of the videos. @Yuki_Onna, this might be perfect for your #TwinPeaksReadingChallenge.

Great spooky mystery for 5th-8th graders. Written as a journal. Cliffhanger ending. Interactive with linked video clips online. Poorly edited - several typos. Good read. First in a series.
