1. Tagged book is a recent fave - no-one else seems to have read it!
2. Yes. And no. I like to take the duvet completely off the bed to let it air so it always looks unmade but to me it's done.
3. 11 or 12 Celsius in East Riding of Yorkshire today. Grey & cool.
4. If I have an egg mayo sandwich/roll I like a thin layer of HP sauce on the bread. I also like milk with Sambuca.

I absolutely adored this book. It's up there with Beartown and The Overstory as my favourite reads of 2018. The writing is divine - the vocabulary, the turns of phrase, the wit - all absolutely gorgeous. It's set in Greece and the place is so exquisitely evoked that I was totally transported. The characters are so vibrant, so real. The story is consuming, profound, moving, intelligent, meaningful, inspiring. Loved it!
Was already loving the tagged book at a mere 6% in then this little beauty popped up! Made my geek heart sing 🤓🤓🤓
Can't wait to start this one - I love anything to do with Greece! 🇬🇷💙🇬🇷💙🇬🇷
