pickIt‘s taken me almost a year to read this book, but I am so glad I have. I started at the beginning of the year when my grandpa was diagnosed with cancer. And it kind of just sat on the shelf a long time. If you‘re looking for a book that‘s wonderfully written and not at all transphobic this might be a good one for you.
Second day of summer and it‘s pouring rain and cold (lulling is into a false sense of security!)going to make the most of the morning whil I can. Today is going to be so busy I‘m not sure when rest will happen 😩
Not time for reading today as we celebrated at the special needs children's party at the zoo
My reading buddy has me locked in place! Can not move and can not move the kitty!
Finally finished today‘s errands and the kids in my reading seat, sit on the other seat and son childe has decided it‘s time to use mum for a pillow! Urgh! Let‘s see if we can at least get a chapter! Mind you I love these kids and the way they all love hugs and cuddles still!

Morning littens . These clouds are such a welcome sight! Hoping things cool off a lot today. I was up at 5am as the smoke from the fires in the country came into the house and freaked me out a lot. We are not near the bush but smoke travels. There were so many fires here yesterday and at least two houses lost. Hoping dearly we don‘t get another day like that for a while, but it‘s going to be a long and dangerous summer.
Day two of almost no sleep and a lot of pain. Normally it‘s the cold that causes me so much pain but it seems as the nights warm I can not sleep as fibro is kicking my tush. Starting today with some quiet reading, then I did promise to make cookies with the youngest today.
These are essential for reading here in my house. I can not focus with background noise! Even the cars on the street make it hard! Thank god for borrowing the kids headphones!

Morning reading before the day really gets on the way!
The creators in me needed an outlet....crochet hats and reading on my rest day.
Trying to catch 20 mins quiet time before waking the kids and getting too busy this morning.
6.30 am and it‘s just me awake....time for some peaceful reading. I am enjoying this book a lot. It‘s trans inclusive and so far not abelist in the slightest! I might be back on reading!
8 am on a Monday morning, just me and one child awake though I think they have gone back to bed (teens hey), noise cancelling headphones on and about to focus on this. I miss my morning reads. I need to get back into the habit of reading each day.
Trying this again. I'm ready to really get my teeth back in my book!
Back to this one. Please goddess let this not be a failure!
Woman most wild finally got here yesterday. I had brooded it from the library. It realised it was going to need a lot more time then the library would allow so purchased it. Today I dig into these three.
Kids are still asleep surprisingly so I‘m enjoying some solitude, breakfast and my book. Which actually looks good from the first bit. And it‘s so inclusive, I really love that in a book!
The princess of the house and I are going to give this on a go now. I hop this is a lot better then the last one.
