Maybe @MrBook can #habo here with his bookish question the day — what gets sharpie off a brushed metal TBR book cart? I love my toddler I really do....except when she gets the red sharpie! I‘ve tried magic eraser and cleaning cloths...I‘m afraid to use alcohol and destroy the paint....

Susanita We‘ve had that problem at work when folks use the wrong markers on whiteboards. Try: hand sanitizer, hairspray, nail polish remover. Good luck! 5y
LibrarianRyan Try a dry erase marker, like you would for a white board. Cover the sharpie with dry erase Iink and then wipe off. 5y

JacqMac Dry erase marker worked on the sharpie on my hardwood floor. Kids teach you lots of useful things. Lol 5y
mrsmarch @JacqMac My older child never colored on a surface that was not a piece of paper deliberately set out for coloring on. The toddler is her exact opposite in many things, and this is one of them. No surface is safe from this child‘s artistic wanderings. 5y

I found this kinda funny and a little relatable. I'm not very possessive about my books, but I do hate it when someone rearranges my shelf.😒

Pic from instagram.

olivia.ferz @sudi Yes got it. And I replied back.😊 6y
