Lipstick & Coffee: Erasing the Stains
Lipstick & Coffee: Erasing the Stains | Mrs Tara Robinson
1 post | 1 read
In this book, Tara takes us on her journey from age five to age thirty-eight. She offers a front row seat into her life to show both, the beauties and the beasts of life, and how they are the result of the decisions and choices we make. Her story is a depiction of pain, abuse, and bad decisions that helped shape her path. Her journey will capture your heart, awaken your senses, and inspire you to pay attention. This book was written for young girls, teenagers, and women who are struggling with past hurt. Hopefully, Tara's truth will stop someone from derailing, or prolonging their journey towards happiness due to difficult and uncertain times! This memoir tackles hard issues like domestic violence, molestation, teenage pregnancy, love, divorce, and healing! It teaches us that we must seek to heal early, find a path to peace, and hold on tight to our faith. Tara's story will have you weeping, laughing, but most importantly it will leave you encouraged!

The book‘s cover very accurately captures the essence of the entire book. With bold personality, Robinson bravely uncovers the stains in her life. However, she does so with a stroke of wisdom which allows the reader to see her evolution. A very transparent piece of work, the author explores many different relational dynamics. Great book for young women that are struggling to see beyond the mistakes they may have made in life.
