Finger Rhymes by Marc Brown is a really cute P book that would work great for choral reading. It is a whole book that has different mini poems and rhymes in it , that have actions to go along with it. An ESOL Strategy would be 14 which is to simplify your speech by making it slower and more redundant. This is important and it will be easy since the poems are short. A UDL would be 1.3 Which is to offer alternatives for visual information.

emilybanne The students can work on reading the poems by also using the hand motions that go with them. It will increase vocabulary as well. The pictures in the book will help them to use context clues as to what the vocab words are as well. Gabylaurel10 This book looks so cool with how it‘s showing kids the hand motions with the words! This seems like it could help with teaching sign language? 6y
