This one definitely lacked that excitement that book one had. You spend more time havin Harper cry out ā€I need to call my grandmaā€¯ then her actually trying to deal with the spirits. There was also a lot of unnecessary recaps from book 1, and the death of a character that actually really made me angry because it made bringing her back in book 1 pointless.
