90/150 I admit I'm biased, Truman is one of my favorite Presidents. No president before him had to face what he did at the beginning of his term. Almost no one knew who Truman was when he became VP, so no one knew what kind of president he would be. He was the ultimate under dog who makes good. 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐
16th book for #BigJuneReadathon @Clwojick

stevesbookstuf1 Haven't read this one yet, but I agree with your assessment of Truman. Last Truman book I read is one I picked up at his Presidential Library - Whistle Stop by Philip White. It's about the 1948 campaign. 2y
RamsFan1963 @stevesbookstuf1 I want to read Harry Truman's Excellent Adventure. After his presidency, Harry and Bess did a cross country car trip. Sounds interesting 2y
Graywacke Noting. This sounds good. I really don‘t know that much about him. 2y

RamsFan1963 @Graywacke David McCullough's biography of Harry Truman is probably the definitive work on the man and his presidency. I highly recommend it. 2y
