Got home late last night from my trip to #NOLA with my sister-in-law and niece. Of course, there was a bookstore around the corner from our hotel that I had to stop at! They had a kitty who lives there and lots of local authors and local interest books. ❤ it!!!

I'm super excited to head out to New Orleans this Friday! We are going for 4 days, so my question for you my dear Littens is this: What are your top things to see/do/eat in New Orleans?

britt_brooke Jealous! One of my favorite things was taking the St Charles street car to the end of the line and back. Magazine Street has a lot of shops and restaurants. You have to party on Bourbon St once; for the people watching if nothing else. The house daiquiri at Port of Call is tasty (but full of alcohol so just one). The food everywhere is pretty damned good. Definitely have beignets and cafe au lait at Du Monde; it‘s worth the line. (edited) 6y
BookwormAHN Cafe Du Monde and Pat O Briens are a must. Also I love the Aquarium, the wax museum is pretty good one, The cemetery tours are fun (but really hot, bring water, not kidding) also just walking around the Quarter and soaking in the atmosphere is great. The River Walk is my favorite place to shop. Be careful they sell alcohol everywhere and hangovers and heat do not mix well. Have fun 😸 6y
AprilMae @britt_brooke Cafe Du Monde is on the list! I love people watching so that's a great tip! 6y
AprilMae @BookwormAHN we plan on doing the cemetery tour! I think that and the voodoo shops are what I'm most excited for! And seeing the old houses! We have a 18 year old with (going for her graduation gift) so I don't think the rest of us will drink too heavily, but always a good tip!! 6y
JoScho Mardi Gras World was really fun. They have huge floats and things from the past parades. Also people watching on Bourbon street at night is very entertaining. Have fun!! 6y
