Daisy Miller is probably the most accessible of all of Henry James‘ books. Instead of using 100 words when one will do, he only uses 50. The story is also quite simple — a young man, Winterbourne, meets a young woman, Daisy, he likes and tries to decide whether her reputation is becoming too bad for him to be interested in her.
