Bailedbailed

This is a graphic novel about the suffragettes‘ movement in England. I absolutely loved the art style and the small pops of color through out. Sadly I couldn‘t finish this because the actually set up was extremely hard to follow and the constant jumping around in timeline without any indication made me have to continuously flip back and forth to figure out what was happening. Made it about half way through before giving up.

This is a great read. Beautifully illustrated and a great insight into the tensions and class divisions within the Suffragette movement. Great insight into the everyday lives and relationships between the activists.

An enjoyable read to learn about the suffragette movement in the early 20th century. Although the storytelling was somewhat confusing, I really like the beautiful & distinctive illustrations.

I just started this one as I need something light to read today. I like the illustrations. Black and white and with minimal colours. 😊
