A Wasted Hour
A Wasted Hour: A Specially Selected Story from Tell Tale | Jeffrey Archer
1 post | 5 read
A Wasted Hour is one of those remarkable short stories that you just know has to be true. Kelley, a Stanford College student and aspiring writer, always thumbs a lift back to campus, not only to save money, but in the hope of meeting someone with an interesting story to reveal. But even Kelley couldnt have been prepared for John, and what he had to tell her...with a twist that would haunt her for the rest of her life. This tale is one of twelve in TELL TALE, #1 New York Times bestselling author Jeffrey Archers latest collection of short stories, which will be published in October 2017.

So it turns out I had read this one before 🤔 I really need to get my reading lists in order 😅
It's a nice story, but it lacks substance in my opinion. It's about a wannabe writer hitchhiking and talking with an old man who led a remarkable life. To say more than that without giving out spoilers is impossible, so I'll leave it there 🤐
A pleasant read, but nothing to get excited about 😊
