Had to take a break from wrapping because my child decided he needed to “help”, so I took a break and finished my book. Continuing my golden age detective reading trend with a new (to me) author. I had never heard of this author until she was covered on an episode of Shedunnit podcast! Very entertaining read.

This was more of a so-so for me, because I got a bit bogged down in the story and then found the solution to come out of left field. But I would try another book by this author, because the writing was very good.

Fairly typically entangled Golden Age plot, but I liked that the detective mostly got to the end by plodding away at the police work rather than random wild leaps. Enjoyable stuff, and I wouldn't mind reading another by this author -- she has a nice touch with atmosphere.

Probably shouldn't try reading on the bus (I get travel sick) but I started this earlier and now I'm sooo curious.
