Nobody Looks That Young Here | 
pickA quiet romp through a rural Canadian town outside of London, this is a short book of stories loosely tied together as characters repeat through differing POVs. There were instant connections for me despite the brief space allotted. Several were surprisingly dark but didn‘t focus much on what made it so which was wonderful in its truth— we are all well-rounded humans b/c of both the good and the bad things that occur in our lives. Refreshing.

janeycanuck @mrozzz yeah, probably. More often than not, stuff is named after other places. Words from indigenous languages is very popular, too. We‘re not super original over here. 6y
