so-soI was so excited for this. A book about dogs; what could be better?
The first half had some funny anecdotes about dogs, but it was more like Jennings was trying to impress with the number of quotes from renown people that she could include.
I can't review the second half without spoilers, so see comments for more thoughts.
Overall, disappointing - but it is about dogs so I can't give it a thumbs down!

Sarz It's a book about dogs so I expected the dogs to die. I wasn't looking forward to it but I was expecting it. However, the dogs don't die. The dogs are given away. I try not to judge as everyone is in a different situation, but I just couldn't understand it. And I definitely wasn't interested in any of her stories, about Bali and everything else, after that. She completely lost me. 6y
