Now You See Her
Now You See Her | James Patterson, Michael Ledwidge
The perfect life A successful lawyer and loving mother, Nina Bloom would do anything to protect the life she's built in New York--including lying to everyone, even her daughter, about her past. But when an innocent man is framed for murder, she knows that she can't let him pay for the real killer's crimes. The perfect lie Nina's secret life began 18 years ago. She had looks to die for, a handsome police-officer husband, and a carefree life in Key West. When she learned she was pregnant with their first child, her happiness was almost overwhelming. But Nina's world is shattered when she unearths a terrible secret that causes her to run for her life and change her identity. The perfect way to die Now, years later, Nina risks everything she's earned to return to Florida and confront the murderous evil she fled. In a story of wrenching suspense, James Patterson gives us his most head-spinning, action-filled story yet--a Hitchcock-like blend of unquenchable drama and pleasure.

I had to follow my last book with an easy read and this was just the ticket. It was a fun romp of a book where you always know the heroine will prevail, and the bad guy will get his comeuppance. The chapters are very short so you find yourself reading just one more and one more and one more.

DAB Read it a while back it was easy and fun. But it is a Patterso.

Back on my mysteries! I really enjoy James Patterson‘s mystery novels - they keep me captivated and guessing. He‘s also a Floridian, like myself, and this story takes place in the Keys. While the main character seems to have toooo many bad things happening to her, it does add to the plot. I opened this book and said I‘d read 50 pages to start, and then I finished it all in one day.

This is my first read by James Patterson. I have seen movies based on his books, but never read any. This was a great read. It was fast paced and kept my attention. I see why he is popular. I plan on reading more by him.

⭐️️⭐️️⭐️️Three Stars for this book. I like Patterson books because they are always a quick read. When Janine finds herself in trouble during spring break her senior year in college, a police officer is kind enough to help her out so she stays in Key West and marries him. Little does she know about his other life. 17 years later after escaping him she finds she may have to revisit the sins of her past. Will she survive?

Yo!! finished this book in about a day and a half. My first experience with James Patterson was not bad; I enjoyed the story and the way he told it. Not a super in depth book but it was an easy read, something I would grab to relax if I wanted to relax and not to have to think. I am not going to be buying any of his books but I won't run in the other direction if someone offers another one to me ☺☺☺

levi Ah, sounds nice. I'll probably check one out sometime. He has literally an entire shelf at the library I work at. How was the book in terms of language and mature nature? 7y
bellamore @levipierpont do it! ☺ Check to see which one his most acclaimed one is; Now You See Her happens to be one of my friend's favorite ones. Language was fine - there were a few curse words but nothing that stood out. Mature nature was the same. Nothing graphic and every sex scene was super easy to skip 😉 7y

I make a point of giving each and every author a chance before dismissing them (I have never regretted this except where John Green is concerned). James Patterson is one of those authors I see everywhere but have never read. Someone gave me this book to try so here goes #AboutToReadTheFirstPage

levi Tell me how you like it! I've never read them but he's written SO MANY I would love to get into them. 7y
bellamore @levipierpont I know haha, when someone said they were getting rid of a couple I asked for them. If he's a good read, I want to know! 7y
RadicalReader @bellamore be sure to check out the author Harlan Coben absolutely phenomenal fantastic author I recommend Just One Look. 7y
