so-soToday is December 5, 2018. As I promised, i will be giving a short review on this book. It was ok. Not one of the best poetry books that i have read but it is a good one to pick up if you are a poetry lover! 3/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️
pickHello all! Hope you didn't miss me too much. Today is the second of December (my favorite month and also my birthday month) and I am so excited to be back to share books with you all. Being a part of a book community is the best thing... at least in my opinion. Today i decided to go to Barnes and Nobles and picked up this lovely poetry book. It was 20% off so like OF COURSE. I don't always get into poetry right away, but these poems grabbed my attention immediately. They're filled with raw emotion told through choppy sentences that contain no capitalization. Biddy's poems about her relationship with her mother are especially moving. While I did enjoy her style and most of the poems, some of them started to feel a bit redundant after awhile.
