This was romance-lite. Meaning there was romance, but no sex. (Maybe Christian romance, is that a category?)

Lindsey is a paleontologist who has been living very cautiously since her husband abandoned her when she was pregnant. 7 years later, he wants to take the girl for the summer to Mexico to stay with him. Lindsey, a control freak, falls apart and her twin sister comes to the rescue with a dinosaur tracks and a camp complete with cowboy.

Bostonmomx2 Definitely a thing. 6y
youngreadrshelf @Bostonmomx2 thought it might be. 6y
readinginthedark Christian romance is a sub-genre but usually only applies if there is a religious element to the story (church setting, Amish lifestyle, spiritual crisis, pastor protagonist, etc). This sounds more like it‘s just a clean, old school romance. 6y
youngreadrshelf @readinginthedark yes, you‘re probably right. Who knew they made those anymore?!? 😉 6y
readinginthedark 😆Yeah, I get a lot of requests for clean romances, since I deliver books to a lot of senior living facilities. But I can see how most people wouldn‘t ever see them. 6y
