Need to brush up on conversational Spanish ASAP I'm headed into reading at the migrant school for the next 6 weeks! Third and Fourth graders. I can understand read and write Spanish: any quick tips appreciated!!!! This has always been a glitch for me ugh 🤦🏽‍♀️

Susanita Watch telenovelas and the World Cup. Anything just to get your ears tuned to the language. 6y

theresidentromantic Grab a Spanish audio book, dialogue right in your ears. I did this for before my Italian tests and it helped so much, because I'd talk back. 6y

ravenlee Listen to music in Spanish (ballads usually work best for me, as the words go by a little slower). Have a late-90's flashback and try some Ricky Martin and Enrique Iglesias! 6y

teebe Second-ing the music and telenovelas. Listening to a language is so important to being able to speak it. Also YouTube videos. There‘s a lot of Spanish-speakers who make videos for people wanting to learn and I know there‘s one who does videos where she has conversations with other Spanish speakers so that people can hear how a real conversation sounds / the idiosyncrasies between different dialects.
