This SF by Ron Roy is about friends and the adventures they go on to find the missing mummy in a museum in Connecticut. These friends go through many obstacles but they learn to tackle them and so the themes hard work and growth are highlighted in this book.

fquadri This book can be used for a RA. The teacher can read a chapter of the book a day for the students because the chapters are not that long. EL strategy 44 can be used for this book because it is very mysterious and requires observations and predictions. UDL strategy 2.3 can be used for this book because it has a lot of words that need decoding. 5y

DrSpalding Students tend to love mysteries. These books are appropriate for second, third and possibly lower level fourth graders. While it is not science fiction, you are close! These books are realistic fiction. 5y
