@DuckOfDoom Hooray for better health! 🎉 For my duck pic I chose one of the cutest scenes from Lilo and Stitch. And the book I choose is The Hazel Wood. #ducksandbooks

DuckOfDoom It is one of the cutest scenes. Though I always have to cry when Stitch says he is lost ❤️ 6y
Bookish_AF The Hazel Wood is a good choice !! 6y

What a classic! This is one of the first TL book that I remember hearing and how sad it made everyone when the other ducks were mean to the ugly duckling and it helped us understand we need to be nice to everyone. For this story I would us EL strategy 11: "Place language in meaningful content" by stopping at life lesson spots and clarifying what is happening so that those students get the message as well. TS-S

SavannahP0930 UDL 2.4 "Promote understanding across languages" I would use this UDL because as I said before I think this is an important lesson and that students of all languages need to hear it. Use this link: https://www.education.com/lesson-plan/picture-this-the-ugly-duckling/ to access sequencing cards for the students to tell in which order everything happened. #ucflae4314f17 6y
