Mehso-so

A mixed bag, but some sections I found helpful and I think I'll return to when my baby is there. Unfortunately there are also ample do / do not statements in here with no explanation. I am learning this is common in baby/pregnancy books. It pisses me off! Don't tell me what to do, especially in a scare-mongering tone; give me the reason/data behind dos and don'ts, even your opinion if you make it clear that's what it is, then allow ME to decide.

CaseyTheCanadianLesbrarian Also, do not expect this book to be anything other than blatantly heteronormative, gender-normative, and white-centric. 2y
CaseyTheCanadianLesbrarian @Clare-Dragonfly No but I have just started Cribsheet by the same author! 2y
Clare-Dragonfly Oh, perfect! Because it just occurred to me that Expecting Better is about pregnancy and won‘t help you at the moment 😂 2y
