A Pig, a Fox, and a Box
A Pig, a Fox, and a Box | Jonathan Fenske
1 post | 1 read | 1 to read
In the style of Mo Willems, Jonathan Fenske tells three humorous stories of two friends, Pig and Fox, and their shenanigans with a cardboard box (all of which involved Pig accidentally crushing Fox in the box). With comic art and simple language, this Level 2 reader is sure to have kids rolling with laughter.

Pickpick

This fiction picture book is the winner of a Theodore Suess Geisel Award! It is perfect for read alouds in Kindergarten Classrooms because it is very helpful for emergent readers. It is about a pig and a fox and all of the trouble they get into so it is a fun read for younger kids! https://youtu.be/Xs6ggKvZEQw this video is a read aloud that I would show my students to help their comprehension after I have completed my read aloud.

MakennaK I would use UDL 5.1, use multimedia for communication, since I will be showing them a video for the read aloud. I will use ELL 6, continually monitor students comprehension, because this is a book to help students who are just learning how to read. #ucflae3414f17 6y
DrSpalding This is a new guys all award winner for me. I added it to my stack. You are doing a very nice job of aligning the UDL/EL strategies. Well done. 6y
