pickGeorge Washington is a biography written by Wil Mara. This biography explains how Washington was a hero during the Revolutionary war and how he became our president. I think this book is an excellent resource because it incorporates social studies as well. I would use this for a PR. UDL strategy 3.1 Activate or supply background knowledge and EL strategy 4. Link lesson topic to students‘ prior knowledge would work well.
