Hidden Kingdom: The Nocturnals Book 4 | Tracey Hecht, Sarah Fieber

"The best stories always take place in the dark!" -- R.L. Stine When the Valley's dry season hits, the animals are desperate for water. But that's not the Nocturnal Brigade's only problem. When Dawn, Bismark, and Tobin travel to a distant watering hole, very strange things occur: the ground swirls under their feet, bark jumps off trees, and huge tumbleweeds chase after them. The forest is suddenly alive! When the animals start hearing strange voices, they begin to wonder: are they imagining these bizarre occurrences? Or is some evil force behind them? Is the forest under a magic spell? It's up to the Nocturnal Brigade to solve the mystery...before it is too late. In The Hidden Kingdom, the fourth book in the critically acclaimed middle grade series, The Nocturnals, the adventures of three unlikely friends--Dawn, a serious fox, Tobin, a sweet pangolin, and Bismark, a loud-mouthed sugar glider--continue with teamwork, friendship, and humor. Bonus full color illustrations at the start of each chapter

Pickpick

This book was filled with excellent storytelling, very likable characters, rip-roaring funny moments, and plenty of opportunities to stop and have meaningful conversations with your children about friendship, loyalty, teamwork, kindness, selfishness, and good and bad leaders. Reading this book will encourage you to look around and notice all living creatures and things. Everyone deserves to be noticed. Absolutely delightful!

The cat is away so..... it's time for #coverlove #kidsedition.

For those who are new the kids edition is a mix of picture books through middle grade. Most of the books are out in Feb som in March.

We start with Nocturnals 4. The hidden kingdoms. This is a great middle grade series. I really like how they changed up the cover for book 4. Much more colorful. For those with young kids they also have an easy reader series.

#bookmail I love the Nocturnals Books. They have begging chapter books that are just now coming out as well as their middle grade books that are so fun. And the crow party looks interesting
