I ordered this book for my partner, who you may remember was hospitalized back in November and at 24 years old was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. We had to dramatically change the way we ate, lived and a massive part of our lives. This book is supposed to be one of the best books you can read to help manage type 1 and I‘m excited for us to read it. #nonfiction #health #Lucilleproblems

Kaye I hope the book gives you the information you both need to adjust your life accordingly. My husband was recently diagnosed as pre- diabetic. His dad had it, so it‘s not surprising he‘s now facing it. As of now, it‘ll mainly be diet changes . Being educated helps a lot. 6y
unicoon I was diagnosed with type one when I was 28. It's tough at first but it gets easier with time. I wish I had had a good book to refer to back then but I still managed. Wishing you guys all the best. 6y
LMJenkins My son was diagnosed at 23 months old. He is now 16. I haven‘t read this book, but reading up on the disease gave me all the tools I needed to tackle it. You‘ve got this! 6y
