I haven't been feeling very #romantsy lately, but maybe this - which I picked up for a #readharder category - will change that?

I just heard about this book yesterday, from a Book Riot video recommending romances by or about people of color. The actual book isn't in the Litsy system so I tagged another by the same author. This is supposed to recall Pride & Prejudice, so it should be fun! #ScandalousSaturday #MagicalMarch @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks

Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks Wow!! I‘m going to have to look for it!! 6y
MallenNC @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks Here's a link to the video that talks about it, for more description since it isn't in the database. https://bookriot.com/watch/read-harder-challenge-romance-novels-by-or-about-a-pe... 6y

Book quote from A Summer for Scandal by Lydia San Andres. It's set in a fictional island in the Spanish Caribbean and I could totally relate to the heat and humidity of the setting, as well as the Spanish names of the characters. Very similar to the Philippines!
