Day 5: I've never been a poetry person, but this collection by my brother's friend changed my mind COMPLETELY, and I recommend it to everyone. I've been waiting on the edge of my seat for his latest to arrive since it came out on Tuesday. (I did pre-order it, but clearly the shipping service wants me to enjoy the suspense.) I'll keep everyone updated.

Only one #favoritetitle today because as previously mentioned, my shelves are a mess. But also, I really enjoyed this book of poetry. #riotgrams

A day late, but this is the book that made me want to read more #poetry! The writer references a lot of other poets in his work as well, and I'm thinking of going and exploring those first!

#Hopintospring

This may sound biased since the author is my brother's friend, but I'm not usually a poetry person. Even so, Francisco's collection was so hard to put down for me. I really liked his imagery, emotions, and wit. I ended up ordering my own copy, which is saying something, since I don't think I've ever bought myself a book of poetry that wasn't Shakespeare. I'll be revisiting this when it arrives for sure!

My brother has had a group of friends for years whom I always call my little brothers. One of them is a poet, whose work I'm enjoying with my daughter tonight.
